JOB OPPORTUNITY – Mississauga – Quality Assurance


We are currently hiring three (3) full-time Quality Assurance positions for one of our clients & Canada’s largest flower importers, located in two different locations of the GTA. (Mississauga & North York)

These individuals will have good floral or horticultural knowledge and fine attention to detail. They will be inspecting incoming and final products to ensure quality and adherence to company standards.


  • Check product quality and packaging upon arrival in the warehouse

  • Inform all necessary people and/or departments of any discrepancies

  • Develop and maintain harmonious professional relationships with colleagues and clients

  • Read production orders and diagrams

  • Inspect final products for conformance to quality standards

  • Mark or move defective products for disposal or rework

  • Inform production supervisors and/or other necessary people and departments of any reoccurring issues

  • Provide accurate information by preparing reports on inspection results


  • High school diploma

  • Floral or horticultural education or relevant work experience in horticulture, cut flowers, floral products or quality control

  • Ability to pay attention to details in a time sensitive environment

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to work autonomously

  • Ability to meet deadlines and multitask in a fast paced environment

  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office

  • Good physical capability

  • Ability to work in a cold working environment (3-5 degrees) for extended periods

  • Flexible to work various shifts, including Sundays to Thursdays

ANTICIPATED START: As soon as possible

WAGE/SALARY: $13.00/hr
